To the ancient Egyptians, the lotus was the flower of creation itself -- it closes at night, sinks underwater, and rises to bloom again at dawn, so it became the symbol of the sun and rebirth. The myth says the sun god first emerged from a giant lotus rising out of the primordial waters. Our design celebrates that daily resurrection with blooming pinks over a sunrise-orange field, styled like hand-painted folk botanicals.
