Theo van Hoytema (1863-1917) was a Dutch illustrator and lithographer known for his nature-inspired Art Nouveau designs. This "Bestelkaart" (order card) design was originally a promotional piece, but its combination of playful imagery and decorative borders has given it a life well beyond its commercial origins.
