William Morris believed beautiful design should be part of everyday life, not locked behind museum glass. His leaf patterns -- intricate, rhythmic, endlessly satisfying to look at -- have been decorating homes since the 1860s. This tote bag puts that same design philosophy right on your shoulder.
Morris drew his leaf designs from close observation of English hedgerows and woodlands. Unlike the mass-produced patterns of Victorian factories, his work maintained a hand-drawn quality -- no two leaves exactly alike, each vein and curl following its own path. The result is a pattern that feels organic and alive, even when printed on fabric. His designs influenced everything from wallpaper to book printing and remain widely used over a century later.
